Cedars-Sinai's Clinical Nutrition Program presents an exciting opportunity for a Registered Dietitian II to play a vital role in our mission to provide world-class healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Dietitian II at Cedars-Sinai, you will be expected to exhibit professional expertise and capabilities, demonstrating a wide-ranging knowledge base and robust clinical skills in direct patient interactions. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Conducting nutrition assessments and coordinating nutrition care services for patients in an outpatient environment.
  • Encouraging active participation from patients, families, and caregivers in setting nutrition-related goals and objectives.
  • Collaborating and communicating effectively with the interdisciplinary team and departmental leadership to ensure quality care delivery. Documenting care in the medical records.
  • Contributing to the healthcare team's efforts through multidisciplinary care planning processes.
  • Overseeing the clinical nutrition care activities of registered dietetic technicians (DTR).
  • Engaging in the development and/or revision of educational materials, guidelines, protocols, and other resources to enhance clinical practice.

Qualifications

Experience:
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience as a clinical dietitian/registered dietitian in an acute care setting or a similar environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects within established timelines, along with problem-solving and excellent interpersonal skills. A patient-centered approach is essential.
Educational Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or Nutrition is required.
  • A Master's degree in a related field is preferred.
License/Certification Requirements:
  • Certification as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission of Dietetic Registration is required.
