Key Responsibilities
  • Rental Operations
    • Determine the type of vehicle and accessories required by customers, as well as the location for pick-up and return of the automobile.
    • Quote the approximate cost of rental based on the type of automobile, daily rates, estimated mileage, insurance coverage requested, and amount of deposit required.
    • Examine customers' driver's licenses and credit cards to verify their validity and eligibility for rental.
    • Complete rental contracts, explain rental policies and procedures, verify credit card information, and obtain customer signatures and deposits.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide friendly, helpful, and prompt assistance to customers via phone and in-person.
    • Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Vehicle Management
    • Check automobiles upon return for damage and record mileage and fuel level readings.
    • Accept automobiles returned by customers and compute rental charges based on the type of automobile, length of time, distance traveled, taxes, and other expenses.
    • Reconcile cash or credit card slips with rental agreements and send them to management.
  • Additional Responsibilities
    • Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to company dress code.
    • Attend managers' meetings as requested and participate in ongoing training and development programs.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
