Our Richmond, VA office is seeking a Project Engineer with 5+ years of experience who is a subject matter and technical expert in civil engineering for private sector land development projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct the overall design and plan production philosophy, processes, and Quality Management (QA/QC) roadmap for projects across various industries.
  • Help design staff perfect their technical site design knowledge and plan preparation experience through side-by-side training.
  • Provide technical expertise, creative solutions, and value engineering during concept, design, and construction phases.
  • Recommend individual project strategies to mitigate risk for clients throughout design, construction, and facility use.
  • Peer-review plans.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • 5+ years of experience in site civil design.
  • Proficiency with civil engineering technology, industry standards water modeling, and storm water modeling programs.
  • Single family residential, data centers, manufacturing facilities experience is preferred.
  • The ability to learn quickly and multi-task with strong communication skills and a solid work ethic.
  • A passion for site design, creative problem-solving, and mentoring others.
