Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships through excellent communication and technical taxation skills.
  • Supervise and mentor junior accountants to ensure their growth and development.
  • Assume a leadership role in the firm's tax practice, providing guidance and support to team members.
  • Serve as primary client contact for tax engagement teams, ensuring seamless communication and delivery of services.
Requirements:
  • Minimum two years of general tax experience, preferably with experience in individual, trust, and business flow-through entity taxation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex tax concepts to clients and team members.
  • Previous experience with State and Local Tax (SALT) work is highly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a Master's degree in Taxation or a related field a plus.
  • CPA license required.
Benefits and Compensation:

Delap LLP offers a competitive compensation and benefit package, including four weeks of paid time off and a 401(k)/Profit Sharing Plan. The target compensation for this role includes a range of $76,500 to $89,500.
