Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students' speech, language, and communication skills.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address each student's unique needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services and monitor student progress regularly.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate therapy strategies into the classroom and at home.
  • Maintain detailed records of therapy sessions, progress reports, and student outcomes.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, contributing valuable insights and recommendations for students' speech and language goals.
  • Stay current with best practices and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Texas.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and educational staff.
  • Experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
