We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Stellar Therapy Services. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing assessment, evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment services to students with communication disorders. You will develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of students, in collaboration with school staff and parents. You will also provide consultation and training services to teachers and other educational professionals to improve their understanding of communication disorders and how to support student development.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Provide assessment, evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment services to students with communication disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of students.
  • Provide consultation and training services to teachers and other educational professionals.
  • Document and maintain accurate and organized records of student progress, assessments, and treatment plans.
  • Attend and participate in team meetings, IEP meetings, and other school-based meetings.
  • Stay informed about current research, trends, and best practices in communication disorders.
  • Maintain professional licensure and certification standards required by the state and national organizations.


Qualifications:


  • Master's degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited institution.
  • State licensure or eligibility for licensure in speech-language pathology.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
  • Experience working with children with communication disorders in a school-based setting preferred.
  • Effective communication skills, oral and written.
  • Knowledge of current research and best practices in communication disorders.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
