We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Registered RN to join our Neurosciences ICU team at Emory University Hospital. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced environment.
Job Summary:The Critical Care Registered RN will be responsible for:
- Providing direct patient care to critically ill patients
- Assessing patient needs and developing individualized care plans
- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care
- Monitoring patient vital signs and responding to changes in patient condition
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- 12 months of recent nursing experience within the past five years or recent completion of a re-entry nursing program
- Valid, active unencumbered Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board
- BLS certification required and ACLS may be required in designated departments
The Neurosciences ICU at Emory University Hospital is a 40-bed unit that provides care to critically ill patients with a variety of diagnoses, including subarachnoid hemorrhage, ischemic strokes, hemorrhagic strokes, autoimmune diseases, epilepsy, brain tumors, and meningitis.
