Critical Care Registered Nurse

Emory Healthcare is seeking a skilled Critical Care Registered Nurse to join our Neurosciences ICU team. As a critical care nurse, you will have the opportunity to work with a nationally acclaimed neurology and neurosurgical team, providing exceptional care to patients with complex medical conditions.
- Number of Beds: 40 ICU Rooms and 2 Acute Stroke Resuscitation Rooms
- Patient Population/Typical Diagnoses: Subarachnoid Hemorrhage, Ischemic Strokes, Hemorrhagic Strokes, Autoimmune Diseases, Epilepsy, Brain Tumors, and Meningitis
- Targeted Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:2

Responsibilities
As a Critical Care Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for:
- Providing high-quality patient care to patients with complex medical conditions
- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitoring patients' conditions and responding to changes in clinical situations
- Utilizing the Synergy Model for Care to personalize care for each patient/family
- Communicating effectively and respectfully with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- 12 months of recent nursing experience within the past five years or recent completion of a re-entry nursing program
- Valid, active unencumbered Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board
- BLS certification required and ACLS may be required in designated departments
