Critical Care Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Registered Nurse to join our Neurosciences ICU team at Emory Healthcare. As a Critical Care Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Job Summary:The Critical Care Registered Nurse will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care for critically ill patients. This includes monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and performing various medical procedures. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities:- Assess and plan patient care for critically ill patients
- Monitor vital signs and administer medications as prescribed
- Perform various medical procedures, such as inserting IV lines and administering blood transfusions
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- 12 months of recent nursing experience within the past five years or recent completion of a re-entry nursing program
- Valid, active unencumbered Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board
- BLS certification required and ACLS may be required in designated departments
The Neurosciences ICU is a fast-paced and dynamic environment that requires the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work well under pressure.
