This role requires becoming a proficient user of the core management software system and acting as the primary contact for all software-related inquiries, including account discrepancies, transaction issues, and fund file errors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the effective implementation, communication, training, and management of core management software across all recognized Rutgers Research Cores.
  • Act as the intermediary between the vendor's support and implementation teams and Rutgers core directors to facilitate efficient execution of software training, setup, and troubleshooting.
  • Develop training materials for all software users and disseminate critical information regarding software updates.

Position Details:
- Status: Full Time
- Hours Per Week: 37.50
- Work Shift: Day
- FLSA: Exempt
- Grade: 07

Qualifications:
  • Education: A bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of five years of relevant experience in a financial or operations role.

Required Skills:
  • Expertise in administrative and financial information systems, along with experience in training and supporting application users and stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in implementing and managing finance and administrative information systems.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial and business system information clearly to a diverse audience.
  • Professional communication skills to ensure effective support for a variety of key stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of accounting and finance principles, with experience in developing training materials.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, along with proficiency in communication and computer literacy.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and other project management software.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in business or a related field.
  • Experience with the Agilent iLab System or similar software.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Cloud.
  • Understanding of Federal Uniform Guidance and its relevance to service centers and research cores.
  • Knowledge of the operations of service centers and research cores.

Work Environment:
  • Office setting with requirements for sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Occasional travel may be necessary.
