Intensive Care Unit Nurse

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team at Dallas Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to a culture of excellence and patient safety.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
- Develop and implement patient education plans, promoting health literacy and self-management
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the advancement of our ICU's standards and protocols
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues, maintaining a patient-centered approach
Requirements:
- Current and valid state RN license
- Current BLS certification
- Completion of Critical Care Course preferred
- Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire
- Current ACLS certification
- Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital, critical care preferred
