Overview
Dallas Regional Medical Center is a 202-bed acute care hospital accredited by The Joint Commission that offers a wide range of medical services, including 24/7 emergency care, cardiology, wound care, surgical services, cardiac catheterization, and imaging.
The hospital is the only Certified Stroke Center, Accredited Chest Pain Center, and Labor and Delivery Unit in the area.
In addition, Dallas Regional is the only Trauma Center for 13 miles, and was the first Accredited Geriatric Emergency Room in Dallas County.
The hospital is a recipient of Healthgrades Patient Safety Excellence Awards, 15 Healthgrades Five-Star ratings over the past three years, and Straight "A" Hospital Safety Grades from The Leapfrog Group since 2018.
As a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit, you will be responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
You will provide direct patient care within the scope of practice, direct and guide patient/family teaching, and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the ICU.
The ideal candidate will have a current and valid state RN License, current BLS certificate, and completion of Critical Care Course preferred.
They will also have a minimum of one year as a staff RN in an acute care hospital, critical care preferred, and Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification preferred.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is also preferred.
