We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Plant Maintenance Apprentice to join our team at Mill-Max Manufacturing Corp. in Oyster Bay, NY.
Job Responsibilities:- Maintain the exterior areas of the building and property, including snow removal operations.
- Assemble workbenches, chairs, and furniture.
- Help maintain and repair production machines as needed.
- Assist with receiving and moving raw materials in the warehouse.
- Operate a forklift and assist with basic installations of electrical conduits, wiring, cables, and other equipment.
- Participate in plumbing, flooring, carpentry, painting, and related projects.
- High School Diploma.
- Familiarity with power and hand tools, including saws, drills, screw guns, nail guns, and similar tools.
- Strong work ethic and desire to learn new skills in maintenance.
- Mechanical aptitude and skill in using electrical and mechanical tools and equipment for maintenance and repairs.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Competitive hourly rate: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour.
- Full-time, first shift position (6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday).
