Job Summary

Calpine Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to oversee the safe and economical daily and long-term maintenance of equipment at assigned power plants. The successful candidate will ensure the safety of employees, contractors, and the public during maintenance activities and coordinate schedules and conduct mechanical, electrical, and I&C maintenance repair and preventative maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee safe and economical daily and long-term maintenance of equipment at assigned power plants
  • Ensure safety of employees, contractors, and the public during maintenance activities
  • Coordinate schedules and conduct mechanical, electrical, and I&C maintenance repair and preventative maintenance
  • Develop and maintain computerized maintenance management program
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable environmental and safety regulations during the performance of plant maintenance activities
Requirements
  • High School Diploma, degree from technical/vocational school or equivalent; prefer Associate's or Bachelor's Degree
  • Previous work leadership or senior level contributor experience
  • Typically requires minimum of 5+ years of power generation experience in gas turbine power plant maintenance, and 3+ years of supervisory experience
  • Intimate knowledge and experience with the repair and maintenance practices of heavy frame combustion turbine
  • Valid state driver's license
