Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pharmacist to join our team at Walmart. As a Staff Pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, dispensing medications, and promoting health and wellness in our communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and accurately dispense prescription orders, ensuring patient safety and satisfaction.
  • Counsel patients regarding health care and prescription medication needs, providing education and support to promote healthy outcomes.
  • Maintain confidential information and documentation, adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and other team members to ensure seamless patient care and services.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in pharmacy practice, medication therapy, and patient care, applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes and services.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP).
  • Pharmacy license (by job entry date).
  • Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in patient care, medication therapy, and pharmacy practice.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and other team members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
