Job Summary:

To succeed in this role, you must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, multitask with ease, and maintain a clean and organized workspace. You will also be responsible for maintaining a positive and welcoming atmosphere, collaborating with your team to ensure seamless service, and adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.


Responsibilities:
  • Greet guests upon arrival and seat them at the appropriate tables.
  • Present menus and inform guests about daily specials.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests and communicate them to the kitchen and bar staff in a timely manner.
  • Deliver all food and beverages to guests, ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and presentation.
  • Anticipate guest needs and respond quickly to all requests.
  • Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or issues.
  • Process payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash and credit card transactions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, including but not limited to tables, chairs, and the server alley.
  • Collaborate with other team members to provide seamless service and contribute to a positive and welcoming work environment.
  • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the health and safety of guests and other employees.
  • Adhere to all company policies, including uniform standards, attendance, and punctuality.
  • Attend meetings and training sessions as required to stay informed about menu changes, service standards, and company policies.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a server or host preferred, but not required.
  • Obtain and maintain a valid State Alcohol Certificate through Responsible Beverage Service Training Nebraska.
  • Obtain and maintain a valid City Alcohol Permit through Responsible Beverage Service Training Nebraska.
  • Obtain and maintain a valid Food Handler's Permit through the Lincoln Lancaster County Health Department.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability and passion to provide outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively and efficiently.
  • Basic math skills for processing payments and handling cash.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to see, hear, stand, walk, lift, and carry various items for prolonged periods of time.
  • Must be at least 19 years of age and have legal authorization to work in the United States.
