Door Production Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Door Production Specialist to join our team at The Franklin Group. This role involves safely assembling packages of various building materials from the lumberyard inventory and staging them for delivery to customers. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Building Material Assembly: Expertly assemble packages of building materials, ensuring accuracy and completeness according to customer orders and inventory records.
- Loading and Unloading: Safely load packages onto delivery trucks and unload materials from vendors' trucks or railcars with precision and attention to detail.
- Inventory Management: Assist in stocking inventory of products, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the availability of materials for customer orders.
- Work Area Maintenance: Keep the work area neat, clean, and organized, adhering to safety protocols and optimizing efficiency in material handling operations.
- Customer Interaction: Interact with customers and subcontractors in a friendly and courteous manner, providing assistance with loading materials and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Forklift Certification: Certified to operate forklifts or willing to obtain certification within 30 days, ensuring safe and efficient material handling operations.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and endure inclement weather conditions, maintaining productivity and safety standards.
- Material Identification: Capable of learning to identify various grades of lumber and building materials, ensuring accuracy in assembly and inventory management.
- Versatility and Team Orientation: Willingness to be versatile, self-motivated, and collaborate effectively with team members to achieve common goals.
