Key Responsibilities
As a Landscape Architecture Associate, you will:
  • Contribute to the design and execution of various sustainable transportation and recreational projects.
  • Establish design direction and oversee the preparation of detailed working drawings.
  • Ensure the production of high-quality design documents, reports, and analyses.
  • Lead the development of cost estimates and design specifications for construction documentation.
  • Facilitate public engagement and effectively communicate design concepts.
  • Utilize CAD and rendering software proficiently to produce visual representations of projects.
  • Participate in business development and marketing initiatives as needed.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in a consulting or public sector environment, with at least three years in a project management capacity.
  • Experience in active, non-motorized transportation design.
  • A strong understanding of street and trail design principles, as well as project management methodologies.
  • Familiarity with relevant design standards and regulations.
  • Proficiency in creating visual materials such as photo-renderings and concept sketches.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
