Job Description:

The Lead Sales and Operations Manager for Retail Growth is responsible for managing all day-to-day operations of an individual store to achieve targeted productivity, sales, and profitability. This includes ensuring customer service, store image, merchandise presentation, and cost control in attainment of Company objectives. Key responsibilities include supporting the Store Manager in all in-store operations, training and developing staff to meet sales goals, meeting or exceeding company objectives in all measurable areas of the business, and maintaining scheduling, payroll/selling cost at or below budget standards.

Primary Accountabilities/Job Responsibilities:

  • Drive Sales Growth: Support the Store Manager in all in-store operations to drive and exceed sales objectives.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Train and develop staff to meet sales goals and improve overall store performance.
  • Meet Company Objectives: Meet or exceed company objectives in all measurable areas of the business, including sales, customer service, and profitability.
  • Supervise In-Store Operations: Supervise all in-store operations to achieve sales, service, and profitability objectives, maintaining shrinkage and operating cost controls.
  • Maintain Scheduling and Payroll: Maintain scheduling and payroll/selling cost at or below budget standards.
  • Ensure Fiscal Integrity: Ensure the fiscal integrity of the store by accounting for all cash merchandise and other store assets.
  • Maintain Product Knowledge: Maintain strong product knowledge for use in selling, merchandising, and giving feedback as requested.
  • Adhere to Visual Guidelines: Adhere to visual guidelines, including proper merchandising, signage, and store cleanliness.
  • Provide Feedback and Evaluation: Provide consistent assessment of each associate's sales performance and work within the store to give feedback on areas of strength and opportunities while keeping in line with Company objectives.
  • Responsible for Store Events: Responsible for setting up and executing all store events.
  • Lead Community Initiatives: Lead initiatives to give back to the local community.

Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on location and experience.

Location: Various locations within the Midwest and South.

Requirements:

  • Relevant Experience: 1-3 years of relevant experience in retail management.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
  • Effective Communication: Effective phone and verbal communication skills, including active listening.
  • Basic Computer Skills: Basic knowledge with computers and other technology.
  • Strong Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to multi-task, set priorities, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid Driver's License: Valid driver's license.
