The primary responsibility of the Restaurant Operations Leader is to partner with the District Manager to oversee daily restaurant activities, deliver exceptional customer service, and effectively manage both front-of-house and back-of-house staff. The ideal candidate is committed to providing outstanding service and achieving superior operational results. They have demonstrated leadership experience in the food service sector and possess a strong ambition to grow the business and develop their team.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of prior experience in food service or restaurant management.
  • Must obtain a Food Handler Certification during the onboarding process.
  • Competence in using a computer and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, late nights, and holidays.
  • Knowledge of Spanish is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Uphold the values, culture, and mission of Far West Restaurant Group with integrity and knowledge.
  • Assist in the recruitment, selection, training, and scheduling of team members in conjunction with the District Manager.
  • Manage team performance with support from the District Manager and Human Resources, including coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with the District Manager regarding operational and HR matters.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the restaurant to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Oversee inventory management and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Address food preparation issues and resolve customer service challenges effectively to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure a safe and healthy environment by enforcing sanitation and safety protocols.
  • Drive company objectives by taking ownership and seeking opportunities for enhancement.
  • Ensure compliance with operational standards, quality control, and safety measures.
  • Utilize coaching tools to cultivate a high-performing team and promote operational excellence.
  • Exhibit strong business acumen to achieve store metrics through teamwork.
