Job Overview:
The successful candidate will be tasked with acquiring and driving results from new clientele within the designated region.

Responsible for individual performance as well as contributing to the team's achievement of the company's objectives, ensuring that customer service and relationships are upheld to an exceptional standard.

The role will focus on new business sales while consistently emphasizing the significance of commercial insight to guarantee profitability and service excellence.

Main Responsibilities:
  • New Business Development:
    Identify and convert lucrative sales opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Utilize diverse lead generation methods to enhance the sales pipeline.
  • Build and nurture a robust prospect list to ensure ongoing discovery and onboarding of new business.
  • Conduct cold calls and establish rapport with potential clients to schedule in-person meetings.
  • Effectively manage customer visits through strategic territory management.
  • Represent the organization positively at regional trade exhibitions.
  • Accurately project sales revenue and maintain a sales pipeline through regular reviews and meetings.
  • Ensure CRM is updated accurately, maintaining high data integrity standards.
  • Analyze underperforming customers and reintroduce offerings through product solutions.
New Business Implementation:
  • Document all solutions discussed with clients and relay them internally for successful onboarding.
  • Introduce relevant team members to facilitate a smooth customer onboarding experience.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Head of Sales to ensure all customer contracts are signed and stored appropriately.
  • Work with the Customer Service Team to ensure rates are approved and entered into the system for accurate quoting.
  • Ensure the customer is established in the system with all necessary documentation allocated to their account.
RFP/RFQ Management:
  • Evaluate new customer inquiries to determine the viability of securing new business.
  • Engage the Regional Head of Sales for resource allocation on new customer inquiries.
  • Ensure all pricing proposals exceeding $50,000 annually are approved by the Global Head of Sales.
  • Collaborate with Customer Service Teams to gather pricing information and guide margin expectations.
  • Develop supporting documentation for tender responses, including technical operations details and pricing models.
  • Ensure all data is recorded and stored for future reference.
Strategic Development:
  • Identify new sales channels and clients within the aerospace sector and contribute to the development of customer solutions.
  • Explore and propose new opportunities for consideration within the aerospace sector.
  • Create presentations to communicate company credentials and capabilities to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct external meetings and quarterly business reviews as necessary.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in presenting the company's vision and capabilities to all relevant audiences.
Market & Competition Analysis:
  • Collaborate with the Network team to build a strong network of contacts in international offices to maintain market leadership.
  • Identify and assess industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics, providing recommendations for action.
Key Skills & Attributes:
  • Demonstrated sales experience in a customer-facing, target-driven environment, preferably within the aerospace sector.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems.
  • Driven by sales and customer service.
  • Ability to work proactively and independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in managing diverse customer relationships.
  • Capability to deliver projects within set timelines.
  • Ability to evaluate multiple options and select the most effective approach.
  • Persistence and determination to secure new business.
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of the implications of actions.
  • Analytical skills to interpret complex data and develop business solutions that meet both customer and company objectives.
  • Leadership skills to motivate a high-performing team to exceed targets.

Qualifications:
Experience in the aviation industry in a sales capacity is essential.

Salary Information:
Annual Salary Range: $75,000 - $80,000 (USD)
