Women's Health Department Job Description Role Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at the Connecticut Institute for Communities, Inc. The successful candidate will work alongside healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care to our patients. Key Responsibilities: * Gather information to support patient assessment and care * Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers * Monitor and record vital signs, medical history, and symptoms * Assist with physical exams and medical procedures as needed * Provide education to patients and families on healthcare topics * Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care * Collaborate with school nurses, WIC colleagues, DCF, and other medical departments as needed Requirements: * High School Diploma or GED * Current LPN license in the state of Connecticut * Previous experience in pediatrics preferred * Strong communication and interpersonal skills; bilingual strongly encouraged to apply * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment * Attention to detail and ability to multitask * Understanding of medical terminology and nursing protocols * Experience with electronic medical records required; eClinical Works preferred Benefits: * Competitive compensation commensurate with experience * Comprehensive fringe benefits package including health care coverage and retirement program * CIFC Health is a NACHC and a PSLF approved site, eligible for the submission of loan forgiveness applications * 13-paid holidays in addition to paid time-off * Monday-Friday day-shift schedule with minimal evening or Saturday hours * Mission-focused environment Compensation Details: * 24-31 Hourly Wage
