Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Land Surveyor to join our team at CONSOR Engineers. As a key member of our transportation construction projects, you will be responsible for supervising field operations, conducting boundary survey calculations and analysis, and preparing survey reports, drawings, and maps.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage survey field operations, ensuring timely and accurate completion of projects.
  • Conduct boundary survey calculations and analysis, utilizing trigonometry principles and industry software.
  • Prepare and submit survey reports, drawings, and maps for transportation construction projects.
  • Maintain and ensure proper functioning of survey equipment.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in surveying technology.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or equivalent technical experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD, Carlson, Topcon Magnet, and Bentley OpenRoads Designer & Geopak software.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
  • Minimum of 10 years of surveying experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • A registered Land Surveyor license in Tennessee is required, or the ability to obtain one.
  • Proficiency in both conventional and advanced surveying methods across both public and private sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of trigonometry principles and their application in surveying.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
