Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist surgeons during operative procedures, maintaining a safe and aseptic environment in the Operating Room area.
  • Participate in the preparation and maintenance of surgical equipment and supplies.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
  • Provide support to the surgical team during emergency situations.

Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
  • National certification in surgical technology is highly preferred.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
  • Must have completed accredited Surgical Technologist program or have five (5) consecutive years training/experience as a surgical tech.
