Position Overview: Environmental Project Engineer

We are pleased to announce an opening for an Environmental Project Engineer with a distinguished Engineering and Consulting Firm. Below are the essential details:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in assessing and rehabilitating environmentally affected sites.
  • EIT certification is mandatory; PE or PG licensure is preferred but not essential.
  • Completion of 40-hour HAZWOPER training and an 8-hour refresher course is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with team members, mentor junior personnel, and supervise field operations.
  • Gather and evaluate field data, ensuring adherence to project specifications and regulatory standards.
  • Draft technical documentation, engage with clients and stakeholders, and maintain awareness of applicable laws and regulations.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • EIT designation is required; PE license is encouraged.
  • At least 3 years of experience in environmental assessment and remediation.
  • HAZWOPER certification and annual refresher course completion.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel as needed for projects.
