Job Title: Civil Engineer - Conveyance Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer - Conveyance Specialist to join our team at CDM Smith. As a key member of our Water Services Group, you will be responsible for designing and implementing conveyance systems for water, water reuse, and wastewater projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop conveyance systems, including water distribution systems, collection systems, and stormwater infrastructure.
  • Conduct site reviews and studies to ensure designs align with location specifications.
  • Provide construction support services, including submittal and RFI reviews, design change reviews, site visits, and construction management services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement project plans.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Certification as an Engineer in Training (EIT) or passing the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam in states where an EIT is not obtainable.
  • 5 years of related experience.
