About the Position

The Life Model position is a unique opportunity to serve as a model for art courses at PNCA. As a professional figure model, you will be responsible for sustaining a variety of poses for art students during classes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sustain a range of poses, from gestures to sustained poses, as required by tradition and directed by the instructor.
  • Poses in person, ensuring a comfortable and professional experience for students.
  • Hold standing or seated poses for a minimum of 20 minutes, demonstrating flexibility and endurance.
  • Interact appropriately, sensitively, and professionally with instructors and students, fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Work a flexible schedule, including evenings as needed, with a minimum of 9 hours per month required.
  • Keep scheduled commitments and be on time for modeling, demonstrating reliability and responsibility.
Requirements
  • Must be able to hold standing or seated poses for a minimum of 20 minutes.
  • Comfortable being nude in front of 20 or more artists for the duration of the pose.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings as needed.
  • Ability to keep scheduled commitments and be on time for modeling.
  • Prior modeling experience is preferred, but not necessary.
  • Models of all ages and all body types are encouraged to apply.
