Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated individual to assist our members with their financial transactions and provide exceptional service in a supportive branch environment.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Process member financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments.
2. Maintain accurate member records by posting transactions, adjustments, and corrections.
3. Facilitate the sale of financial products such as money orders, cashier's checks, and gift cards.
4. Manage the ordering of member checks and respond to inquiries regarding ATM, debit, and credit cards.
5. Organize and maintain branch documentation and receipts.
6. Execute stop payments as required and ensure the cash drawer is balanced at the end of each day.
7. Achieve referral targets by promoting credit union products and services that align with member needs.
8. Provide routine information about products and services to members and direct them to the appropriate departments for specialized assistance.
9. Assist members in the account opening and closing processes.
10. Address member inquiries and resolve issues effectively.
11. Perform various administrative tasks, including scanning, typing, filing, and answering phone calls.
12. Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Previous experience in a similar role or cash handling is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong interpersonal skills, including courtesy and diplomacy, are essential for this position.
The role involves regular interaction with individuals both within and outside the organization, primarily for information exchange that may require discussion.
Proficiency in operating a 10-key calculator, typewriter, and computer keyboard is necessary. Candidates should possess excellent multitasking abilities and communication skills, along with a keen attention to detail.

Work Environment:

The position may require lifting up to 25 lbs for marketing materials; primarily office-based work with extended periods of sitting in front of a computer.
