About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing, with experience in AWS Managed Services, ECS, EC2, EKS, Serverless Framework/Lambda, API Gateway, Step Function, S3, ALB, and Route53. You will also have a solid understanding of software development and application architecture principles, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot issues and proactively monitor critical systems to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Act to resolve incidents and mitigate issues in test environments that impact clients, engineers, and cross-enterprise stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting tools and frameworks.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience as an Observability Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, or similar role.
  • Experience working in an Agile delivery environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Solid understanding of software development and application architecture principles.
  • Experience with AWS Managed Services, ECS, EC2, EKS, Serverless Framework/Lambda, API Gateway, Step Function, S3, ALB, and Route53.
  • Prior experience with Java, JS, Python, NodeJS, Spring.
  • Strong knowledge of observability tools and frameworks such as Datadog, Prometheus, or Splunk.
