About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Exercise Specialist to join our Cardiac Rehabilitation team at Saint Luke's Health System. As an Exercise Specialist, you will play a critical role in developing and delivering individualized exercise programs for patients with heart disease.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver evidence-based exercise programs for patients with heart disease
  • Collaborate with the nursing team to identify risk factors and parameters for safe exercise
  • Provide exercise leadership, instruction, and prescription to patients
  • Report any changes in patient status or needs to the supervising therapist
  • Delegate and instruct supportive personnel in services to be provided
  • Provide timely documentation per department and/or hospital policy
Requirements
  • Exercise Science Bachelor's Degree
  • Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
  • Less than 1 year of applicable experience
