Job Title: Sorenson Team Lead Interpreter

Job Summary:

Sorenson Communications is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Lead Interpreter to join our team. As a Team Lead Interpreter, you will be responsible for overseeing and supporting a team of interpreters, ensuring the highest level of quality and compliance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support a team of interpreters to ensure high-quality interpreting services
  • Ensure compliance with company standards and regulations
  • Provide training and mentoring to interpreters
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to promote a positive and inclusive work environment

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of interpreting experience
  • National/State/Provincial Certification preferred
  • Previous management or leadership experience preferred
  • Professional interpreting experience required

Working Conditions:

  • Able to sit/stand for long periods in an office environment
  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other computer components
  • Regular and predictable attendance required
