Overview:
Creekside Health & Rehab is on the lookout for a dedicated and proficient Registered Nurse (RN) to enhance our team of healthcare specialists. This role involves overseeing nursing staff and managing daily nursing operations within the facility during assigned shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily provision of nursing care and evaluate nursing staff performance to ensure adherence to established protocols.
- Facilitate regular staff meetings to identify challenges and enhance service delivery.
- Detect and address issues in nursing care promptly to maintain high standards of patient care.
- Prepare and present reports and recommendations to the Director of Nursing as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of nursing services into the overall care plan for residents.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred.
- Valid registration and license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the relevant state.
- Certification in Peripheral IV therapy.
- A minimum of two years of clinical nursing experience.
- Preferred one year of experience in a leadership role.
- Experience working with geriatric and subacute populations for at least one year.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
