RN Clinical Nurse Coordinator Special Procedures

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN Clinical Nurse Coordinator Special Procedures to join our team at HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Hospital. As a leader in patient care, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, intervening, and evaluating the care of patients in your unit. Your expertise will ensure that all patients receive high-quality, efficient care.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patients' needs and develop individualized care plans
- Provide leadership to nursing teams during designated shifts
- Administer medications in accordance with physician orders
- Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions
- Maintain and review patients' records, including posting test and examination results
- Licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- ACLS required in certain units
- PALS or ENPC required within 6 months of hire/transfer in certain units
- CPI required within 3 months of hire/transfer in certain units
- Minimum 1 year RN experience in acute care setting preferred
