Hay Creek Hotels is seeking a dedicated and personable Event Services Supervisor to enhance our Food and Beverage division.

Shifts will be variable based on event schedules, including weekends.

As part of our team, you will contribute to the success of our beautifully restored inn, which features a contemporary dining experience and versatile event spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with the Food & Beverage Director to onboard, train, and motivate banquet staff effectively.
- Develop efficient staffing schedules that align with budgetary guidelines.
- Support the creation of training programs and evaluate their effectiveness.
- Assist in maintaining adherence to service standards and appearance guidelines.
- Manage inventory and ordering processes to meet event requirements.
- Conduct daily briefings to communicate operational focuses and guest needs.
- Engage with the sales team to ensure all event specifications are met.
- Handle client billing and payment processing post-event.
- Oversee the banquet bar operations and ensure compliance with cash handling procedures.
- Supervise banquet setup and delegate tasks to ensure all event preparations are completed.
- Prepare signage and menus for events as required.
- Act as the primary contact for guests during events, ensuring their satisfaction.
- Maintain open communication with staff to uphold service standards.
- Participate in performance evaluations and foster a positive team environment.
- Stay informed about food safety and allergy protocols.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and peak periods.

Qualifications:

- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with POS systems.
- Experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.

Work Environment:

- The position is based in a hotel setting, primarily within restaurant and banquet facilities.
- Adherence to safety protocols and procedures is essential.
