Position Overview

Residential Care Specialist

As a Residential Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in shaping the lives of residents by serving as a positive role model. Your responsibilities will include contributing to the development and execution of individualized treatment plans, utilizing role modeling techniques to foster socially effective values, attitudes, and behaviors among residents.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Human Services OR an Associate's Degree accompanied by a minimum of three months of experience working with adults facing substance use challenges OR a High School Diploma or G.E.D with at least six months of relevant experience; OR Certification as a Peer Recovery Specialist in Virginia or actively pursuing such certification.
