The programs aim to address essential psychological, intellectual, physical, social, emotional, and spiritual requirements while fostering self-worth in a supportive and nurturing atmosphere. The Cognitive Care Activities Supervisor will collaborate closely with the Activities Director to ensure effective programming.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in creating and executing a dynamic activity schedule that operates seven days a week, ensuring engagement and participation.
  • Lead and facilitate various activities, including one-on-one sessions, small groups, and larger gatherings, in alignment with the established programming.
  • Encourage and guide residents in pursuing independent activities, both individually and in small groups.
  • Recognize that all aspects of care can be viewed as an opportunity for engagement and activity.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of residents' backgrounds, interests, physical capabilities, cognitive levels, and attention spans.
  • Motivate residents to participate actively in scheduled programs and activities.
  • Report any changes in residents' conditions or behaviors to the appropriate supervisory staff.
  • Accompany groups during outings to ensure safety and support.

Qualifications:
