We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Department Manager to join our team at JD Sports Fashion Australia Pty. As a Department Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and KPIs, coaching and developing your team, and upholding visual standards to ensure your department is always replenished.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive conversion, sales, and KPI performance
  • Demonstrate exceptional Customer Service standards and supervise the team to deliver a 'service over task' environment
  • Work with BOH team to deliver shop floor product availability
  • Uphold company retail standards and deliver store visual excellence
  • Support management team to deliver all internal and external profit protection processes
  • Support with new team members' inductions and ongoing training to build bench strength for future store expansion
  • Encourage team members to improve performance through effective coaching
Requirements
  • 2-3 years leadership experience within retail or a similar industry
  • Passionate about creating an amazing service experience and culture for our customers
  • Proven track record in driving and exceeding set KPIs and communicating well with all stakeholders
  • Excellent time management skills to ensure that daily priorities are executed in a timely manner
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Openly shares knowledge with the wider team to achieve common goals
  • Ability to enthusiastically look at a challenge as an opportunity to develop yourself and learn new skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills who thrives in social situations through engagement with customers
