As a Department Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department. This includes managing staff, coordinating scheduling, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and supervision to staff, ensuring operational goals are met and performance objectives are achieved.
  • Coordinate scheduling and monitor guest satisfaction, ensuring a seamless experience for our customers.
  • Oversee all aspects of food preparation, maintaining a clean, well-stocked, and problem-free kitchen environment.
  • Support compliance with departmental budgets and ensure cost control methods are in place.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring that all team members meet our high standards and address any issues promptly.
  • Assist with administrative duties, including maintaining quality assurance procedures and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; minimum of two years culinary experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
  • Flexible to work all shifts, including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime as business needs dictate.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to interact with guests, staff, and colleagues, resolving problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
