Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Memorial Hermann Health System. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to patients with a range of conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medical gases, medication, and aerosols for therapeutic and diagnostic purposes
  • Perform patient assessments and basic interpretation of arterial blood gases, pulmonary function testing, and chest x-rays
  • Communicate effectively with physicians and other staff members
  • Provide expert respiratory advice and recommendations to physicians and other staff
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field
  • Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) certification or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) registration
  • Current Respiratory Care Practitioner License or Temporary Respiratory Care Practitioner License
  • Basic Life Support Certification
  • Two years of critical care experience preferred
