Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Patient Safety Technician to join our team. As a Patient Safety Technician, you will provide direct 1:1 care or observation to patients with complex behavior and/or mental health needs under the direction and supervision of a nurse.

Responsibilities
  • Provide safe and effective care to patients with complex behavior and/or mental health needs.
  • Collect and document clinical data on patients, reporting changes in patient status to the healthcare team.
  • Use effective communication skills to collaborate with the healthcare team to provide a safe environment and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in the development of the plan of care for patients with complex behavioral and/or mental health needs.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • No experience necessary; on-the-job training provided.
  • Mental Health Technician Certification or equivalent within 365 days.
  • BLS required upon hire.
