Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop complex SQL Server databases and data solutions
  • Administer and maintain large-scale SQL Server databases
  • Develop and implement data manipulation queries and jobs
  • Work with business owners to maintain and modify existing business logic SQL scripts and stored procedures
  • Collaborate with the IT team to ensure timely and quality technology support
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of Microsoft SQL Server data development and database administration experience
  • 4+ years of Microsoft SQL Server 2017+ experience administering an on-premises +16TB database
  • 4+ years of Microsoft SQL Server 2017+ experience administering very large tables of 6+ billion rows
  • 4+ years of Microsoft SQL Server 2017+ experience using and maintaining table and view partitioning
  • 4+ years of Microsoft SQL Server 2017+ experience tuning and maintaining large databases and queries
  • Ability to work a staggered schedule, as needed, to maintain near 24/7 operational support during processing windows
  • Ability to translate business requirements from business-provided SQL scripts and code
  • Ability to clearly and professionally document operational tasks and processes
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of experience using ServiceNow (or similar system) for incident, change, and release management
  • Experience working with institutional and professional medical claims data (i.e., Stratasan)
  • Able to work with teammates, customers, and partners to design robust and efficient solutions
  • Able to gather requirements from stakeholders and translate them into technical specifications
  • Able to work with project managers to accurately evaluate and scope work
