As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will play a pivotal role within the Federal Reserve Financial Services (FRFS) Solution Architecture team. This team is responsible for guiding technology decisions and solution designs across various payment systems. You will serve as a technical leader, tasked with researching, analyzing, and architecting solutions that align with both business objectives and technological requirements. Your collaboration with stakeholders, technology providers, and security teams will be essential in developing comprehensive technology architectures and roadmaps for payment systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide architectural leadership and technology design expertise throughout the development and integration of new and existing solutions. Collaborate with leadership to define and communicate long-term technology strategies. Contribute to the design and implementation of technical solutions across various applications. Consult on complex projects requiring in-depth knowledge across multiple architecture domains. Develop technical solution architectures, considering integration impacts across business, data, and application domains. Act as a technical expert to ensure successful enterprise-wide application rollouts. Promote understanding of distributed architecture and its alignment with overall business objectives. Communicate effectively with diverse audiences, translating complex concepts into clear presentations. Participate in designing key solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise business and technology architecture. Provide strategic direction for application development approaches, including tools and frameworks. Support architectural initiatives that enhance efficiency in line with business strategies. Collaborate with other architects to ensure optimal integration across platforms. Engage in FRS workgroups and advisory groups as a technical contact.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred.

Experience:

Senior Solution Architect: 15+ years of experience in architecting and engineering complex technology solutions across diverse platforms.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a senior technical expert responsible for complex integrations across various platforms. Extensive experience in architecting large-scale, enterprise-level systems in an agile environment. Familiarity with cloud technology solutions, particularly AWS and Azure. Knowledge of machine learning, AI, and data mining principles. Experience in building and maintaining microservice applications and integrating with third-party systems. Strong background in application/system/platform/data/security/integration architectures. Experience with Java EE architecture and design, including web applications and services. Knowledge of information security controls and best practices.
