Responsibilities
The Cloud Architect is responsible for providing technical direction to agile teams and articulating a cohesive technical vision for ongoing projects. This role is crucial in designing Azure architecture for mobile and web applications.

Key Duties:

  • Guide team members by establishing clear direction.
  • Define the technical and architectural vision through thorough analysis and trade-offs.
  • Continuously refine solution architecture based on feedback from application architects and software engineers.
  • Outline primary components and their interactions within the solution.
  • Develop architecture runway enablers through research and prototyping to explore and evaluate potential solutions.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Owners, and engineering teams to translate product requirements into technical specifications.
  • Participate in Scrum of Scrums to identify and resolve architectural challenges.
  • Engage in Solution Demos and program planning to pinpoint areas for enhancement.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Advanced knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Lean, XP) and experience with cross-functional teams.
  • Expertise in multi-tier application architecture design, full software development lifecycle, and application integration.
  • Strong understanding of Service-Oriented Architecture concepts, including SOAP, Web API, REST API, and microservices.
  • Experience in implementing solution architecture across various domains such as technology, information, data, application, security, and integration.
  • Ability to quickly learn and articulate complex subjects.
  • Proficiency in multitasking and working independently in a dynamic agile environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying technical solutions to diverse audiences.

Additional Skills:
Preferred experience includes:

  • Familiarity with Adobe Marketing Cloud products.
  • Mobile application development experience.
  • Building cloud solutions using Public Clouds (IaaS and PaaS).
  • Containerization experience with Docker, Docker Swarm, or Kubernetes.

Education and Experience:
A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, with a Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred. Candidates should have 6-8 years of experience as an Architect with a proven record of delivering innovative solutions and 4-6 years of practical software engineering experience.
