About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Operations Manager to join our team at ColonialWebb. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities on our construction sites and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate the work activities of assigned trade/craft workers, including assigning tasks and ensuring that work is completed to the required standards.
  • Direct and supervise the work of assigned teams, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Interpret and implement company policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Inspect work in progress and completed work to ensure that it meets the required standards.
  • Monitor and control project schedules, ensuring that deadlines are met and that projects are completed on time.
  • Coordinate and manage the delivery of materials and equipment to the construction site.
  • Attend meetings and communicate with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and other contractors.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on project progress, including daily reports, weekly reports, and monthly reports.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues on the project, and develop and implement plans to address them.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and other contractors, ensuring that their needs are met and that they are satisfied with the quality of work.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a construction operations management role, preferably in the MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) industry.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and other contractors.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks and issues on the project.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of construction industry standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Ability to read and understand project-related documents, including blueprints, specifications, and job orders.
  • Ability to use current technology, including laptop computers, tablets, smartphones, Microsoft Teams, Procore, and BIM.
