Operations Manager Job Description

At Amazon Stores, we're seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations network, you'll play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop a team of salaried and hourly talent to maintain the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive improvements through data-driven decisions and analytical problem-solving.
  • Support and mentor team members to ensure they have the tools needed for success.
  • Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
  • Develop and implement productivity plans through forecast reviews and partnering with other leaders to load balance.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of employee and performance management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques experience.
  • Experience managing a team of 2+ salaried employees and 70+ indirect employees.
  • Experience scoping, leading, and implementing process improvements through Lean Six Sigma and/or Kaizen.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $81,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $150,100/year in our highest geographic market.

Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
