Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and organize appointments for various treatments including Chemotherapy and Radiology, ensuring all necessary medical records are collected and available.
  • Communicate with patients to clarify test instructions and address any inquiries or concerns prior to their scheduled appointments.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff to effectively manage unscheduled appointments and ensure proper authorization before patient visits.
  • Coordinate essential hospital services such as admissions and transfusions.
  • Retrieve urgent results from pathology, labs, and radiology for healthcare providers.
  • Process specialty requisitions for advanced testing.
  • Support clinical personnel with communication needs, facilitating internal consultations.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required; Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of one year experience in a medical front desk role.
  • Strong multitasking abilities, flexibility, customer service orientation, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word; experience with electronic medical records is advantageous.
  • Bilingual candidates, particularly in English and Spanish, are encouraged to apply.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday

Compensation: Up to $25 per hour
