We are seeking Certified Caregivers/Medication Technicians who hold certifications in all three levels.

Work Schedule: 2nd Shift from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Tuesday through Saturday

Flexibility in scheduling is essential, with availability required on weekends and holidays.

Key Responsibilities:
The primary role of the Resident Care Assistant (RCA) is to deliver both physical and emotional support to residents, ensuring their dignity, choices, and individuality are respected. This position reports to the shift supervisor and the Wellness Director.

Core Duties Include:

  • Providing comprehensive care and services to assigned residents while assisting other wellness team members as necessary.
  • Collaborating effectively with colleagues and other team members.
  • Assisting residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, toileting, eating, and mobility.
  • Maintaining a professional demeanor during interactions with residents and their families.
  • Reporting any suspected instances of abuse to licensed staff immediately.
  • Utilizing safe transfer techniques when assisting residents with mobility.
  • Managing residents' laundry as required.
  • Adhering to safety protocols and infection control procedures as established by health authorities.
  • Documenting services provided on company forms accurately.
  • Operating medical equipment and communication devices as needed.
  • Coordinating transportation needs for residents.
  • Assisting residents with personal correspondence and phone use upon request.
  • Observing and reporting changes in residents' physical and emotional conditions to the Wellness Director or supervisor.
  • Conducting regular room checks and resident rounds.
  • Monitoring for safety hazards in the environment.
  • Responding to emergencies promptly and reporting them to the supervisor.
  • Employing tactful communication techniques in sensitive situations.
  • Following up on reported complaints and concerns with appropriate staff and residents.
