Job Overview

Best Equipment Company is a leading environmental equipment dealership seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team.

This is a day shift position, Monday through Friday, involving a variety of repair and maintenance tasks on public works, municipality, and contractor environmental equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform troubleshooting and repair of 12-volt electrical systems
  • Work with hydraulic systems, including electric over hydraulic and air over hydraulic systems
  • Meet journeyman level standards
  • Apply strong understanding of electrical theory
  • Read and comprehend complex wiring schematics
  • Basic knowledge of pneumatic systems
  • High mechanical aptitude
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • Fabrication, welding, and Class 7/8 chassis experience is a plus
