Job Title: Roadway/Civil Engineer

STV is seeking a skilled Roadway/Civil Engineer to join our Northeast Transportation division in the Hartford office.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Roadway/Civil Engineer to support our interdisciplinary projects, focusing on the production of construction documents, plans, specifications, estimates, and studies for road/highway projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting interdisciplinary projects, document preparation, and production.
  • Designing roadway alignments and details, grading, drainage, traffic, and other highway infrastructure and site work.
  • Proficient in Bentley MicroStation and Bentley Open Roads Designer.
Requirements:
  • BS/MS degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in transportation, highway, and roadway design.
  • PE License is preferred.
Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with CTDOT Roadway Standards, Criteria, and Specifications.
  • Ability to provide technical expertise in roadway/highway design, vertical and horizontal alignments, pavement section design, and drainage system design.
Compensation:

$67,000 - $89,661.00 per year.

STV is committed to paying all employees in a fair, equitable, and transparent manner. The listed pay range is STV's good-faith salary estimate for this position.

Please note that the final salary offered for this position may be outside of this published range based on many factors, including but not limited to geography, education, experience, and/or certifications.
