Position Summary:

As a Quality Assurance/Quality Control intern, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our products adhere to the highest standards of quality and dependability. Your role will involve assisting in the establishment and upkeep of quality control protocols, conducting inspections, and supporting ongoing improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of quality control protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
  • Participate in inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods to confirm adherence to specifications.
  • Help identify and document quality issues or discrepancies, and assist in the implementation of corrective and preventive measures.
  • Support the calibration and upkeep of inspection instruments and tools.
  • Engage in root cause analysis for quality-related issues and contribute to problem-solving efforts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality challenges and promote process enhancements.
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of quality documentation, including inspection reports, quality records, and procedural guidelines.
  • Support internal audits to ensure compliance with quality management systems and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in training sessions for employees on quality protocols and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a degree in engineering, quality assurance, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and strong analytical capabilities.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.
